Slow down...

These library computers are killing me. So slow. Wireless connection I believe. Some e-mail won't open. But I will be using this for another couple of weeks or so. Once I get moved in I will get a cable connection for the house. Lady at the ATT store says she may be able to resell by air card for my laptop that doesn't work because of the NO 3G network here 'bouts.

Damn, I hate when that happens...

Lots of smoke in the air, still several fires burning, with containment to be sometime this week-end.

Promise I will have some photos to post, but until I get the house connection, uploading is a real joke.

Ok, my fancy AT&T air card for my laptop is really a bust here. Get this, no 3G network. I can get the GSM network and my cell phone works on the GSM, but not the Internet. GSM is equivalent to dial-up. More stuff needs to be added to the cell towers before 3G is available. So for awhile I will be using the computer in the library.

Now, I am all moved. Staying with relatives as the house is being vacated as we speak. Hopefully next week they will be out and I can spread out my stuff. Need to do some remodeling. First thing is to get the electrician in to rewire the plugs and add some outlets. My electronics need lots of juice.

Fires all over the place. Saturday night lightning strikes set over 40 area fires. Lots of smoke in the air.
