Not...

For those of you still reading this....

Not broke, my hand that is. And not the tendon I suspected. It is a torn tendon but one that will ultimately not affect the use of my fingers. It won't happen overnight, but when the swelling goes down the use of my fingers will gradually return.

The doctor gave me a prescription for a bottle of Codeine pills and large bag of Cheetos. I will go to bed happy tonite. In about twenty minutes.

Ouch...

Just what I don't need. This morning while getting ready for work I broke my hand. Or maybe a bone in my hand. Or a tendon in my hand. Any way, hold out your hand palm down and look at the back of your hand. From the index finger knuckle, follow back toward the wrist and there is a bone or tendon that makes a ridge. Move it with your finger back and forth. That is what broke. A loud snap and pain like a hot iron. Now it is swollen and red and three fingers are curled under and I can't straighten them out.

My job is all about typing on the computer keyboard all day long. This could be serious. I will call the doctor tomorrow and see if I can come in to find out exactly what it is.

Typing with one hand and two fingers is painful and awkward.

Damn...I hate when that happens.

Hungry...

I really like the food network. They have such good..... recipes in 30 minutes.

Bones...

Could be bones bleaching in the sun. Ha!! we have no sun. More likely rust.

End of the Oregon Trail?

Yes indeedie it is the End of the Trail. End of March and the doors close. Shut. Dust Bunny heaven. Awash in pink slips. What goes around, comes around. Gee, it must have been 12 years ago that I worked there and got a pink slip when times went bad in the spring of '97. Only that time it was just me that bit the dust.

This time the whole place is taking the big dirt nap.

Well, too bad. It really was a very nice attraction.
